China to pour 2.03 billion yuan in maintaining Jiayu Pass

China will pour 2.03 billion yuan (about 328 million US dollars) in maintaining the Jiayu Pass, also including the construction of a world culture heritage inspection center and a heritage protection and display project. Built in 1372, the Jiayu Pass also served as a vital passage on the ancient Silk Road. It was listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1987. (Xinhua/Lian Zhenxiang)
