Exhibit of Shanghai-style art to open

Shanghai (ECNS) -- A Shanghai-style art exhibition featuring over 600 artworks from various Asian galleries will open on June 28, according to the organizing committee of Shanghai Art Fair on Monday.

Over 30 galleries in China and other Asian countries, including the Republic of Korea (ROK), Japan, and Singapore, have signed up for the exhibition.

More than 600 Shanghai-style artworks, including traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, sculptures and ceramics, will be displayed.

The event is expected to serve as a bridge of communication for Shanghai galleries and galleries in other countries in Asia, according to the program organizer at a press conference on Monday.

The exhibition will be held at Shanghai Exhibition Center from June 28 to June 30.
