PLA replaces license plates for military vehicles with new ones

BEIJING, April 28, (ChinaMil) -- In accordance with instruction from the Central Military Commission (CMC) and requirement from the four general headquarters/departments of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), the PLA will start using new license plates for the military vehicles uniformly from May 1, 2013.

Reporter learns from the Military Traffic and Transportation Department under the General Logistics Department (GLD) of the PLA that all the troop units are scheduled to replace their license plates for military vehicles with the new ones intensively from April 28 to April 30, 2013.

It is learnt that after the work of replacing license plates for all military vehicle, the garrison departments and military-vehicle supervise and manage departments of cities at all levels will strengthen the inspection and picket on running military vehicles, collect the void license plates, so as to ensure an orderly management of military vehicles.
