Kazakhstan's Cinema Week kicks off in Beijing (2)

Before the opening ceremony, president of Shaken Aimanov Kazakhfilm JSC Ermek Amanshaev and cast members of six Kazakhstan films attended a press conference of the Kazakhstan's Cinema Week.

According to Aimanov, the six films to be screened in Beijing will show the country's history, culture, modern life, and the emotional world of young people in Kazakhstan. He hopes people in China can have a basic understanding of contemporary Kazakhstan films and their future development trends.

Kazakhstan's Cinema Week was co-sponsored by State General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of PRC and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
