Fortune Global Forum to be held in Chengdu (3)

Photo taken on Dec. 5, 2012 shows the cloud computing center established by Dell, a computer technology corporation in the Fortune 500 list, and a local network company Aipu in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province. By the end of 2012, Chengdu's GDP has reached 800 billion RMB (about 130.48 billion U.S. dollars), ranking the 3rd place in China's sub-provincial cities. By May of 2013, more than 230 enterprises in the Fortune 500 have come to Chengdu. The 2013 Fortune Global Forum will be held in Chengdu from June 6 to June 8. Chengdu, an ancient city with a history of over 2,300 year, is developing into an international metropolis with its huge economic development potential as well as its special cultural environment.
