Tangjiu sets up wine training center together with CAFA

November 29 saw a cooperation contract signing ceremony for a wine training center by Shanghai Tanngjiu Group and France-based CAFA-FORMATIONS. Mr. Ge Junjie, vice president of Bright Food Group, addressed the ceremony. Present at the ceremony were Mr. Cui Zhijun, president of Tangjiu Group, Ms. Ma Lin, general manager of CAFA-FORMATIONS China region, Ms. XXX, chairperson of Commanderie du Bontemps, leaders from DIVA, dozens of French chateaus, major wine makers of Shanghai, Jin Jiang Hotels and other leaders from Bright Food and Tangjiu.

Mr. Ge, on behalf of Bright Food, expressed warm congratulations to the establishment of the training center. The center, he pointed out, would serve to introduce French wine culture into China, enhance wine appreciation by enterprises and the general public, bridge wine industries in the two countries and promote Bordeaux wines in China market. Bordeaux wine needs China for new glory while China needs Bordeaux for growth of its wine industry, he said. Cooperation between the Group and DIVA will give Bordeaux access to the China market and First Food’s flagship shop in Nanjing East Road will serve as a landing and distributing place for such wine. “Bright Food will surely make Bordeaux wine brighter.”

From the training center will come out a team capable of both profound understanding of French wine and marketing in China. The center will help promote industrial coordination between the two countries, enhance the wine section of the Group and give full effect to strategy of the wine industry. It will also provide more professional and considerate services to consumers, dealers and chateaus by ushering into the China market original French products and services.

Mr. Cui Zhijun and Ms. Ma Lin addressed the ceremony on behalf of cooperative enterprises, expressing confidence in jointly building the training center. Mr. XXX, DIVA president, expressed expectations for the prospects of the center as well as industrial and personnel cooperation between wine industries of the two countries. Ms. XXX, on behalf of Commanderie du Bontemps, expressed warm congratulations to and appreciation of the cooperation. Vice President Wang Guoxiang and Ms. Ma Lin signed the agreement on strategic cooperation on behalf of cooperative enterprises. Chairman Ge Junjie, Ms. Ma Lin and Ms. XXX jointly unveiled the plate of the training center. Mr. XXX, general manager of Château Mouton Rothschild, which was listed as Premier Grand Cru in 1855, presented to the center exclusive wine bearing his signature, a token of best wishes from French chateaus.

After the ceremony, enterprises related to Tangjiu engaged in deep discussions with representatives of French chateaus and dealers present.
