Farm produce prices in 36 major Chinese cities decline consecutively

Prices of edible farm produce in 36 major Chinese cities declined for five consecutive weeks, the Ministry of Commerce said on May 27. The average wholesale prices for 18 vegetables on the monitored list dropped by 5.2 percent week on week and declined by 21.9 percent over the price of five weeks ago. (Xinhua/Zhu Xudong)
