Young rangers patrol railway line

Chinadaily.com.cn)  08:39, April 19, 2013

Wang Jiancheng, a ranger from East China’s Shandong province, grooms his horse at Zhenglanqi railway station in Xilinhot, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on April 16. A ranger team of eight policemen was set up at the railway station in May 2012 to better patrol the railway line in its jurisdiction, because harsh weather, complicated topography and heavy snow in winter often makes it impossible for local policemen to patrol the line in mobile vehicles. Seven of the rangers on the team are in their 20s. (Photo/Xinhua)
