A 60-hour journey home

As Chinese New Year draws near, migrant worker Luo decided to travel 2,200 kilometers to go home for family reunion.

Luo Hengdi, 51, from southwest China's Sichuan province, now works in Wuhu, east China's Anhui province. On January 14, Luo left Wuhu for Nanjing where his son's family lives and then took a west-bound train for his hometown Sichuan on Jan. 15; two days later, he finally arrived at home and reunited with his wife and daughter.

He spent 60 hours taking different vehicles, including subway, train, taxi, bus, before he arrived at home. The journey witnessed an ordinary worker’s family reunions prior to the Spring Festival.
