‘Mickey Mouse’ in Shandong wins a 400 million lottery

The Sports Lottery Center in Shandong welcomed the big winner on Aug. 11, 2014. After deducting the 20 percent tax, the final prize is 397.6 million yuan. To be interviewed, the winner dressed himself in a Mickey Mouse costume and used a voice changer. He described how he bought the "winning ticket" on that day and also mentioned he had been buying sports lotteries for years.

The winner said that getting participated is the first step to win a lottery when being interviews. Though with this much of money, the winner has planned to continue his original life, and he would pay more attention to the charity and help more people in need.

"With a good heart, the winner voluntarily donated 20 million RMB to found a Sports Lottery Fund to help people in need in the society." Zhang Yunhai, a manger in Sports Lottery Center of Shandong said, the winner has appointed and authorized Shandong Sports Lottery Center to manage this fund, and there are also some specific requirements for the recipients of the fund. Everyone is welcomed to supervise the uses of the fund.

The total amount of the lottery reaching 497 million yuan becomes the biggest lottery prize in Shandong Province, and the third-highest lottery jackpot in China.
