"Get Drunken in Chang'an" Ancient-styled Guest Welcoming Ceremony staged to welcome intl guests

Getting off to be welcomed into the tent, walking down the imperial route, being given performance of songs and recitations, being welcomed by a team sent from within the city … In the Culture Square by the South Gate of the Xi'an City Wall on the night of September 19, the grand ceremony "Get Drunken in Chang'an -- Great Tang Dynasty Guest Welcoming Ceremony" was held to welcome the guests of the China Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Expo 2014.

After the ceremony, domestic and foreign guests ascended to the top of the city wall, where executives of travel service providers from all around the world appreciated the culture of the Silk Road at the starting point of the world-famous ancient trade route and engaged in cordial exchanges with a view to discuss how to develop travel products around the Silk Road and promote the development of the tourism industry.
