Yuyang has increased prices 10 percent from last year, to 240 yuan ($38.5) on weekdays and 340 yuan on weekends, while Huaibei's remain the same, at 240 yuan weekdays, and 380 yuan at weekends.

Nanshan Ski Village will open at the end of the week, and offers a children's training camp and lessons from foreign instructors, said customer service representative Guo Yajing.

Cui Wenshu, from Wanlongbayi Ski Resort said they expect to be open by December 10 at the latest, and Deng Chuanqi, director of Jundushan Ski Resort's customer service department, said they will not sell tickets until early December.

"The weather is still too hot to produce artificial snow now, but we are sure to open in early December," she said.
