Happy big brother has birthday cake

Five-year-old gorilla Haibei eats his birthday cake yesterday at Shanghai Zoo. Haibei is the first gorilla born in Shanghai, and the first in China since 1982. Haibei means "treasure of Shanghai," and the pronunciation in Chinese sounds like "happy." Inset is Haibei's little brother, born on May 17. The zoo has launched a nationwide campaign to give him a name. (Shanghai Daily)
