Author Feng Jicai wins culture award

Feng Jicai, a well-known author of "scar literature", "retrospective literature" and "culture novels", has won the 22nd Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award.

Founded in 1992, the award supports the development of art and culture. Feng won the award for traveling nationwide to conduct surveys on folk culture and for establishing the first digital resource to document cultural heritage protection in China.

The award ceremony, which was held in Beijing recently, attracted celebrities, including pianist Lang Lang, actor Zhao Wenxuan, Feng Shaofeng and actress Ni Ni.
