China stocks extend losses Friday

BEIJING, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks continued to head downward on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.51 percent, or 11.79 points, to end at 2,314.16.

The Shenzhen Component Index slid 0.34 percent, or 31.57 points, to 9,364.54.
