TEHRAN, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Iranian ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Ali-Asghar Soltanieh said his country will continue talks with the UN nuclear watchdog to resolve the outstanding issues regarding the Irainian nuclear program, semi-official ISNA news agency reported Friday.

His remarks came as a response to an IAEA report released Thursday about Iran's nuclear program.

The report confirm that Iran had started the installation of IR- 2m centrifuges, a new model of Iran's centrifuges which could significantly boost Iran's uranium capacity at Natanz fuel enrichment plant.

However, Iran stressed that the advanced centrifuges would be applied to produce 5-percent enriched uranium, after informing the IAEA about the installation.

Soltanieh called for a "calm atmosphere" in order for Iran and the IAEA to succeed in addressing the concerns about the Iranian nuclear issue, said Press TV.

On Feb. 13, the Islamic republic and the IAEA held their latest round of talks on Iran's disputed nuclear activities but no agreement was reached.
